The Turkish Ministry of Health has initiated physician staffing increases across various provinces as part of the 130th Term State Service Obligation (DHY) lottery. Initial allocations included significant medical positions in Diyarbakır, Tokat, Düzce, and Batman to strengthen local healthcare access and specialist availability. Yontar emphasized that these appointments must be implemented promptly to address ~~medical shortages~~ healthcare needs driven by Tekirdağ’s increasing population and industrial density. She specifically urged that doctor distribution be based on population density and branch needs in ~~both urban centers~~ districts such as Çorlu and ~~rural districts.~~ Çerkezköy to ensure residents do not have to travel to different districts for specialist care.
