Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs Friday sermons

Overview

The Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) has issued consecutive Friday sermons focusing on different aspects of religious and social duty.

The first sermon, released for September 11, 2026, centers on ‘Education and Instruction.’ It describes education as a vital tool for building relationships with the Creator, society, and the environment. The text advocates for a generation grounded in faith and science, urging parents and teachers to protect youth from harmful ideologies and addictions.

The subsequent sermon for September 25, 2026, is titled ‘Our Responsibility of Preaching.’ It shifts the focus to individual conduct, emphasizing that preaching is a collective responsibility.
