In early October 2026, Türkiye Taşkömürü Kurumu (TTK) initiated recruitment processes for permanent workers in the Zonguldak and Bartın regions. This included calling reserve candidates to fill vacancies left by previous hires who failed medical or security checks, as well as a new drive for 61 workers across nine professions via İŞKUR. Later in the month, TCDD Taşımacılık announced a separate recruitment for 166 permanent workers for maintenance workshops and depot directorates across Turkey. These positions, covering eight technical branches, were to be filled via a notary-supervised lottery rather than examination scores. The application window for these roles concludes on October 26, 2026. The lottery, intended to identify 166 primary candidates and 664 reserve candidates, is scheduled for November 18, 2026, at the TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. General Directorate in Ankara.
