Finnish industrial metal band Turmion Kätilöt announced the upcoming release of their twelfth studio album, ‘Resodance’, scheduled for 23 October 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band described the project as their “most electric album to date”, blending electronic sounds with direct melodies. Following the initial release of the single “Raivotarjonta”, the band released a second single and music video titled ‘Lunastakaa’. Vocalist Shag-U noted that the lyrics for the second track were inspired by reports of power abuse and human exploitation. exploitation, contrasting an energetic tempo with grotesque themes. Some interpretations also suggest the lyrics reflect on how artists commodify themselves for money and visibility. To support the album launch, the band has scheduled a ‘Colossal Disco’ headline concert at Helsinki’s Ice Hall on 24 October 2026, which is reported to be nearly sold out, as well as a performance in Lahti on 7 November. The band will embark on an extensive Finnish tour through April 2027, including stops in Jyväskylä, Joensuu, Oulu, and Turku. During selected December dates, the horror punk band The Ghoulstars will serve as the opening act.
