The City of Tuzla has launched a second public call to co-finance the renovation of building facades in the city center. Under this program, the city will cover up to 50 percent of the total costs for a single building, with a maximum subsidy of 10,000 KM. Eligible works include facade repairs, installation or removal of scaffolding, replacement of external joinery, gutters, and downspouts. The City’s Institute for Urbanism will review applications to ensure proposed colors and appearances are acceptable, requiring that existing opening dimensions and decorative elements be preserved. Certain buildings are excluded, such as public buildings, national monuments, and structures with managed or forced administrators, as well as buildings showing signs of structural instability. Applications must be submitted to the Civil Protection Service of the City of Tuzla within 30 days of the announcement. Recent observations in Tuzla note an increasing number of closed business premises within the central district, including the closure of the restaurant Citta del Sale and Textile House.
