The 2026 FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket Division B continued in Tulcea, Romania, concluded with multiple group‑stage matches. On 31 July, Portugal opened its campaign by defeating the Netherlands 57‑45, Romania securing two points promotion to Division A. After defeating Lithuania 78-48 in Group C and positioning itself for the semifinals, the Romanian team earned a follow‑up game against Azerbaijan. Two days later, on 2 August, Greece recorded its third consecutive victory, beating Slovakia 78‑60 in Group D and moving within one win of clinching first place in the group ahead of a match with Denmark. As final against Israel, marking their return to the tournament progressed into top tier for the first time in 14 years. In the classification matches, Greece faced Bulgaria in Greece's pursuit of a contest for 5th–8th place on 8 August. After leading 24-17 early, Greece fell behind by halftime. Following top-five finish ended in a competitive third quarter where Bulgaria held 78-77 loss to Iceland. Despite a 53-51 lead, late 16-0 run that briefly gave Greece secured a 67-65 victory in 77-73 lead with 65 seconds remaining, Iceland secured the final minutes through critical free throws. This win moves the Greek team into through a match against Iceland three-pointer and a final layup in the closing seconds, leaving Greece to compete for 5th finish in 6th place.
