The United Arab Emirates has engaged in high-level diplomatic meetings to expand its strategic and economic partnerships with Uzbekistan and Türkiye. In discussions with Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration, officials focused on enhancing bilateral investment, aligning regional trade networks, and advancing renewable energy and transportation infrastructure. Following this, UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss deepening ties through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. The talks centered on accelerating commercial exchanges, increasing non-oil trade, and developing joint ventures in technology, digital infrastructure, and logistics corridors. Building on these efforts, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Saida Mirziyoyeva in Abu Dhabi to further strengthen ties with Uzbekistan. These discussions continued to prioritize regional trade networks, bilateral investment, and renewable energy infrastructure. Both nations expressed a commitment to maintaining direct communication channels between Abu Dhabi and Tashkent to ensure the effective implementation of existing government agreements, while also addressing technical public sector programs and cross-border transportation networks. Concurrently, Uzbekistan is pursuing broader regional connectivity, including discussions with Pakistan regarding the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway to link Central Asian markets to South Asian seaports. Uzbekistan is also exploring cooperation with the EU and the WMC Group in the mining and mineral resources sector.
