UAE chambers expanding international trade partnerships
Overview
United Arab Emirates business chambers are actively pursuing new bilateral trade and investment agreements with international entities.
In early October, Dubai Chambers signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Assolombarda, a major Italian business association, to enhance cooperation and create partnership pathways between the business communities of Dubai and Italy.
Later in the month, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed two separate agreements in Athens during the UAE–Greece Business Forum. These included a memorandum with Enterprise Greece to facilitate foreign direct investment and an agreement with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry to provide Abu Dhabi businesses access to a network of Greek companies.
