Microsoft and Ubisoft have launched a series of promotional offers for Xbox users. In late September 2026, Xbox announced Free Play Days for titles such as PGA TOUR 2K25 and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, alongside Ubisoft’s announcement of a 40th anniversary campaign featuring Far Cry 6. By early October 2026, the collaboration evolved into a “Ubisoft Takeover” event for the Xbox Free Play Days program. During this period, Through October 4, 2026, players on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One can access five major Ubisoft AAA titles at no cost without an active Game Pass subscription. These titles include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, The Crew Motorfest, Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Skull and Bones. Participants can access full versions of these games, with any progress, achievements, or Gamerscore earned during the event set to carry over if the titles are purchased later.
