Ubisoft Rayman remake rollout

In mid‑July 2026 Ubisoft began promoting a series of remakes for its classic Rayman platformers. On 15 July the company released the first trailer for **Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition**, highlighting 4K resolution, 60 fps, haptic‑feedback support and other upgrades while keeping the original story. The announcement noted that the enhanced edition would be bundled at no extra cost with the upcoming **Rayman Legends Retold**, scheduled for release on 1 October 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2.

A week later, at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Ubisoft showcased **Rayman Legends Retold** more fully. The demo featured new 3D graphics, additional story content and fully voiced cut‑scenes, produced across several Ubisoft studios. Visitors could play a two‑player co‑op demo of the first level and experience other interactive features. The event confirmed the same 1 October release date and positioned the remake as the centerpiece of Ubisoft’s showcase alongside other titles.

Together, the two announcements map Ubisoft’s strategy to revitalize its Rayman franchise for modern hardware, bundling the Origins enhancement with the Legends remake and using a major gaming expo to generate hands‑on exposure.
