On July 25 the group published a follow‑up report confirming that remote‑controlled humanoid robots successfully completed laparoscopic gallbladder removals on anesthetized pigs. One trial paired a single robot with a surgeon; another used two robots working together. All procedures finished with only minor, quickly resolved complications, reinforcing earlier findings on precision and feasibility. Researchers again cited latency, recalibration and movement‑precision limits as remaining hurdles before clinical deployment.
