UD Ibiza performance and away form development
Overview
UD Ibiza manager Raúl Llona initially focused on addressing a significant performance disparity between the team’s home and away form. Following four matchdays, the club had secured two victories at Can Misses but suffered two defeats on the road, conceding five goals away compared to only one at home. Llona stated the club aimed to build a consistent identity, noting, “We do not want to be a team that plays one way at home and another way away.”
This developmental goal saw progress when the team secured its first away victory of the season, a 1-0 win against league leaders Villarreal B in a Primera RFEF Group 2 match. Pedro Ortiz scored the decisive goal in the final fifteen minutes, providing a boost to the club’s promotion ambitions.
