The Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca initiated its 2026 academic cycle by opening admissions for its medical master’s programs. The university introduced new specializations, including Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Lifestyle Medicine, alongside existing programs in fields such as intensive care, oncology nursing, and bioinformatics. The 2026-2027 academic year has now commenced with a total of 1,929 new students enrolled. This cohort includes both Romanian and international students who will undergo a curriculum of theoretical courses, practical training, and clinical experience to prepare for professional roles in medicine and pharmacy.
