Umm Al-Qura University announced launched the upcoming 26th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation Research, scheduled for September 2–3, 2026, Research in Makkah. Makkah on September 2, 2026. Held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the forum was themed focused on the theme ‘Excellence and Integration in the Hajj and Umrah Services System’ and aimed to foster innovation in areas such as crowd management, digital transformation, and healthcare to support Saudi Vision 2030. 2030 through sustainable innovations in crowd management and pilgrim services. The forum officially opened with event featured a comprehensive program featuring consisting of five scientific sessions, over 40 professional workshops and guidance sessions, five research workshops, 50 scientific papers, and 30 innovative projects. The event involved more More than 80 entities and 25 expert speakers. Additionally, speakers participated in the fourth edition forum, which included exhibitions showcasing research, scientific posters, and technological projects designed to serve pilgrims. The forum concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing sponsors and the winners of the ‘Hajathon’ challenge was held ‘Hajathon 4’ challenge, a platform dedicated to encourage fostering creative solutions for enhancing pilgrim safety and within the spiritual experience.
