Universal Orlando Resort has finalized details for its 2026 holiday season, which will run for 51 days from November 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027. This duration is six days longer than the previous year and marks the first Christmas celebration at the newly opened Universal Epic Universe. Holiday decorations will expand to include Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Celestial Park, alongside existing festivities in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Ministry of Magic. Seasonal attractions include Grinchmas at Islands of Adventure and the Universal’s Holiday Parade at Universal Studios Florida, which features Macy’s balloons and floats. To encourage longer visits, the resort is offering a promotion of two free days with the purchase of a three-day ticket. Hotel promotions include discounts of up to 30% for stays of five or more consecutive nights across 11 Florida properties. The highest discounts apply to Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal Aventura Hotel, Universal Terra Luna Resort, and Universal Stella Nova Resort. Other properties, such as Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, offer up to 20% off, while premium locations like Loews Portofino Bay Hotel offer 15% off. These discounts apply to travel windows from September 8 to December 25, 2026, and January 3 to March 15, 2027. In preparation for the expanded park offerings, travel experts suggest guests may require seven to nine day stays. Additionally, for Halloween Horror Nights 35, the resort is adjusting ‘Stay & Scream’ protocols, allowing eligible guests early access to three haunted houses starting at 2 p.m. Due to high demand, Universal Orlando is also expanding its after-hours event, Universal Nights, at Epic Universe.
