Universal Studios theme parks are launching their respective Halloween Horror Nights seasons. In Singapore, the 14th iteration of Halloween Horror Nights is currently underway, running from September 25 to November 1, 2026. This year marks a shift toward original storytelling following several years of intellectual property collaborations. The event features four distinct original haunted houses: ‘Singapore’s Most Haunted: On Air’, ‘Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection’, ‘Made in Hell: XL Robotics’, and ‘Chatterbox Charlie’s Vaudeville Horrors’. The latter is a 1920s-themed attraction centered on a ventriloquist named Charlie and his dummy, Junior, utilizing illusions like live mirrors to depict a story of revenge. The season includes immersive zones such as ‘The Raveyard’ and ‘Necropolis: The Serpent’s Crossroads’, alongside live performances including ‘Scaremony’, ‘Club PanDEMONium’, and ‘Nail the Beat’. The event also features the Singapore debut of the character HamiKuma and relies on scare actors, including veteran Jagjit Singh and newcomer Sherlene Bo, who performs as a Pontianak-inspired ‘Fatimah Rocker’. Additionally, Resorts World Sentosa is providing provides family-friendly options like the ‘Trick or Thrills’ program and the ‘Belloween Ball’ featuring Minion characters, as well as motorsport-themed experiences at Weave. In Orlando, preparations are underway for a season that will include film-inspired environments and attractions at the new Epic Universe. Visitors are being advised to manage logistics, such as accommodation and queue times, to navigate the event effectively. Staying at official Universal hotels, such as Loews Royal Pacific Resort, may provide benefits like the Unlimited Express Pass to mitigate long wait times. Travelers are also cautioned to prepare for Florida's climate, noting temperatures can reach approximately 33°C with frequent afternoon storms.
