Universidad Santo Tomás has initiated several student engagement and community outreach programs across Chile. In early August, the Punta Arenas campus hosted the "Tomasino por un Día" program, providing secondary school students with access to university laboratories and workshops. The university also announced the tenth edition of SantotoMUN, a Model United Nations simulation scheduled for September. Following these events, educational institutions under the Santo Tomás name conducted further outreach and community service initiatives in the northern regions of Iquique, Alto Hospicio, and Arica. In Iquique and Alto Hospicio, more than 700 high school students participated in the "Tomasin@ x 1 Día" initiative, utilizing laboratories and clinical simulation centers for vocational orientation. Additionally, in the Arica region, over 100 students and academics participated in winter volunteer work in Poconchile. This effort included renovating a local plaza, painting a kindergarten facade, organizing recreational activities for children, and conducting a clothing drive for the local community.
