The University of Tennessee athletics programs have maintained strong performance in volleyball. In early September, the Tennessee volleyball team secured a sweep against No. 21 Indiana at Bridgestone Arena, marking their fifth consecutive sweep to start the season. The victory was driven by a rushing attack totaling 299 yards, led by DeSean Bishop with 147 yards and two touchdowns, while freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon recorded two passing touchdowns.
