The University of West Florida (UWF) has commenced its inaugural era of NCAA Division I athletics. The transition includes various programs, such as men’s basketball, which is scheduled to face Florida State University in November. In football, the UWF Argonauts played have opened their Division I FCS campaign with two consecutive victories.
