University of Zagreb leadership appointments

Overview

The University of Zagreb has announced several key leadership appointments. Following a proposal by Rector Stjepan Lakušić, the University Senate appointed six prorectors to oversee areas including student studies, science and research, international cooperation, innovation, and organizational development.

Additionally, the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Law appointed Romana Matanovac Vučković as its new dean. Serving a mandate until September 30, 2029, she is only the third woman to lead the institution in its 250-year history. She will be supported by four prodeans, including Aleksandra Maganić, who will manage science, doctoral studies, and judicial cooperation.
