Indian badminton player Unnati Hooda has experienced consecutive early exits in major international tournaments. During the BWF World Championships in New Delhi, the 18-year-old Hooda reached the Round-of-32 before losing a close three-game match to Canada’s Michelle Li. Despite winning the first game 21-11 and holding a match point in the deciding game, Hooda ultimately lost 23-21. Following this, Hooda faced another opening-round defeat at the China Masters Super 750 in Shenzhen. Ranked world number 25 at the time, she lost to South Korea’s Kim Ga-eun with a score of 21-10, 21-18.
