Speculation has intensified following reports suggesting Oyanık may have been detained in Uşak as part of an investigation into suspected illegal money transfers and money laundering. New allegations suggest that Oyanık and content creator Cem Özkök may have managed illegal financial traffic exceeding 2 billion TL through personal bank accounts and associated associations. Some claims suggest a portion of these funds may have originated from illegal organizations operating abroad.

While judicial or law enforcement authorities have not issued official confirmation regarding his detention or the specific details of the investigation, the situation has drawn responses from his associates.
