Students from Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) have been conducting various community service activities through their Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program in Central Java. In early August 2026, activities in the Semarang area included neighborhood beautification and flag installations in preparation for the 81st Independence Day, as well as a hypertension-prevention program for health cadres in Bergas Lor. Later in the month, the program expanded to include social and health initiatives in Demak and Semarang Regency. ~~These efforts included~~ In Demak, KKN Group 32 held an anti-bullying socialization ~~sessions for elementary students~~ session at MI As ~~Salam and administrative~~ Salam, teaching students about healthy friendships and ~~nutritional support for toddler health services at~~ the importance of reporting bullying. In Semarang Regency, KKN Group 10 supported the Sekarwangi 1 Posyandu in Wujil ~~Village.~~ Village by assisting with administrative tasks, toddler measurements, and the distribution of Vitamin A and deworming medication. On August 27, KKN Group 5 conducted earthquake mitigation education for children in Kutan Hamlet, Randugunting Village, Bergas District. The interactive session included simulations such as taking cover under tables and emphasized the importance of knowing safe assembly points and preparing emergency kits to increase disaster preparedness from an early age.
