The Salamanca City Council has awarded contracts for a new public park near the railway station. This project, part of the ‘CoNEcta Salamanca’ Integrated Action Plan, will include 128 urban gardens, pedestrian walkways, and a bicycle lane. The initiative involves an investment of 1,116,225 euros and is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Additionally, Regarding local events, the city is providing a free special bus service to facilitate access to the Agromaq Fair (Salamaq) from September 3 to September 7. The This service will run runs every 20 minutes from Plaza de San Julián to the fairgrounds. During the fair, Unicaja will be present to offer specialized financial advice to farmers and livestock producers. Additionally, the city is organizing the Feria de Día gastronomic event.
