The act also mandates that the Secretary of State report to Congress within one year regarding China’s organ transplantation policies and determine if the Chinese regime engages in systematic forced organ harvesting. The scope of the bill includes protections for Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghurs, and other vulnerable groups. The legislation now moves to the House of Representatives for approval.
