Led by Dudley Lamming of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and published in Cell Press Blue, the review suggests that reduced protein intake can improve metabolic health, lower fasting blood glucose, and reduce the risk of diabetes, certain cancers, and cardiovascular disease, particularly in sedentary adults.
