USC Trojans offensive line injury and restructuring
Overview
The USC Trojans offensive line has undergone significant restructuring following a season-ending injury to starting center Kilian O’Connor. O’Connor, a redshirt junior and Rimington Trophy watch list candidate, sustained a non-contact “freak” injury that required surgery.
In response to the loss, the team has adjusted its depth chart ahead of the season opener against San Jose State. Tobias Raymond is expected to move into a permanent role at center, while Hayden Treter and Alani Noa will feature at guard. The line will also include returning tackles Elijah Paige and Justin Tauanuu to provide stability for quarterback Jayden Maiava.
