Valencia CF has entered into an agreement to sell a 42% stake in the club to Pitchwise Holdings, a consortium of American investors and family offices. The deal values the La Liga club at €1.25 billion, including debt. Under the new structure, majority ownership will be retained by Meriton Holdings, controlled by Peter Lim, while Kiat Lim is set to continue as club president. The investment includes a €100 million capital injection intended to support sporting operations, squad strengthening during the winter transfer market, and the development of the Nou Mestalla stadium project. General Director Javier Solís stated that the funds will be allocated toward both infrastructure improvements and the sporting squad. This injection is expected to increase the club’s squad cost limit (LCPD), which was reported at approximately 98.8 million euros in September. Following the announcement, reports suggest the club may use its improved liquidity to pursue Sevilla FC player Miguel Sierra, whose release clause is valued at 20 million euros. Despite the financial boost, the club faces immediate sporting pressure as it currently sits in the relegation zone.
