Vehicle rollovers on Nuevo León highways

Overview

Fatal vehicle rollovers have occurred on different highways in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico.

In late September, a 32-year-old Texas resident died instantly when her Jeep rolled over on the General Terán-China highway near the El Cuchillo dam. Two passengers survived the accident with injuries.

In late October, a separate incident occurred on the Monterrey-Reynosa highway near General Bravo. Two women, aged approximately 50 and 70, died following a rollover after the driver struck a deer. The vehicle involved carried Texas license plates.
