In the weeks following after the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on 24 June, authorities began registering displaced families and delivering new homes. On 27 July, July the Ministry of Habitat and Housing started a census at the Leonardo Infante Transitional Camp, targeting 80 families (about 250 people) who lost their homes. Earlier that week homes, and President Delcy Rodríguez handed over the first 200 newly built houses as part of under the national emergency rebuilding plan. By 30 July, the end of July the government reported that 98 % of electricity service in the hardest‑hit city of La Guaira had been restored, after installing a 300 kV transformer in Naiguatá and deploying more than 400 electric‑system workers. A new housing programme was launched, beginning construction of 1,721 homes (later revised to 1,875) for displaced families, with a goal of about 4,000 units by 2026 and soil‑stability studies for each site. The Chilean NGO TECHO announced a complementary effort pledged to construct build 200 prefabricated emergency houses for victims of 18 m² in 12 communities across six Venezuelan states. The organization mobilised volunteers to survey neighborhoods, launched an international fundraising drive seeking over US$1.5 million, and reported states, using a dry‑construction method that can be assembled in two days. Over $400,000 of a $1.5 million fundraising target has been raised, with more than US$400 000 had already been raised to begin construction in August. Together, 50 volunteers involved. International partners, including the government census World Bank and TECHO’s housing program aim to address UNDP, are monitoring the massive displacement recovery, verifying progress of the "Venezuela Renace" plan, and damage caused by supporting safe‑clearance operations and post‑disaster evaluation coordinated with the quakes.
