Common issues include agents accepting bids after deadlines, altering rules mid-process, and applying pressure on buyers to raise offers. Approximately 28 percent of reports raised concerns regarding agent independence, citing favoritism toward specific clients. In Rotterdam, the political party DENK has submitted formal inquiries to the city government, seeking information on local reports of unfair procedures and the municipality’s power to intervene when agents use misleading information to drive up bids.
