The 2026 cruise ship season in Victoria has officially concluded, following a series of record-breaking milestones. The season ended on October 18 with the departure of the National Geographic Venture, a 239-foot expedition ship, as it headed toward Alaska. The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) confirmed that the season saw a record 332 calls to Ogden Point, surpassing the previous 2022 record of 329 calls. This period also marked the first time the city welcomed more than one million cruise passengers in a single season, exceeding the passenger counts of 989,950 in 2025, 972,268 in 2024 2024, and 970,000 in 2023. In addition to the passenger and call volume records, the season featured the introduction of two new cruise lines, Virgin Voyages and MSC Cruises, and included six ships making their inaugural calls to Victoria.
