A follow‑up meeting chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Vũ detailed the implementation plan for Party resolution (23‑NQ/TW) recognised 23‑NQ/TW, aiming to establish databases and networks that connect overseas Vietnamese as a strategic resource, calling for a database and network to link experts, entrepreneurs and scientists abroad. The resolution stresses the diaspora’s role with domestic projects in AI, semiconductors, biotechnology, biotechnology and digital transformation transformation. The conference reported concrete outputs: more than 1,200 trade‑promotion events and startup ecosystems, over 230 cooperation agreements signed during the period. Targets include raising bilateral trade with Thailand to US$25 billion and urges stronger inter‑agency coordination deepening cooperation with Singapore and other partners.
