The re-examination process at Tuyên Quang Specialized High School has concluded following a large-scale cheating scandal during the 2026 high-school graduation exam. Investigations by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Public Security, and provincial authorities uncovered an operation involving 328 examinees, including 147 students who achieved perfect scores of 10 in mathematics—a pattern deemed abnormal across 13 of the 15 exam rooms. As a result, 29 suspects, including teachers, administrators, and officials, were charged with abusing their positions, with seven placed in pre-trial detention.
