Businesses in Vietnam are intensifying production efforts to meet year-end economic targets and scheduled indicators. In Hà Tĩnh, the business community is focusing on expanding market reach and completing economic goals. The VACOD-HBA association has been facilitating connectivity through the ‘Entrepreneur Breakfast’ forum, which addresses challenges regarding taxation, land, and credit. Local manufacturing is accelerating to meet year-end demand; notably, the VinFast electric motorcycle factory in the Vung Ang Economic Zone has increased capacity to 4,000 vehicles per day. This facility is now exporting to Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Additionally, the Nghe Tinh Fiber Joint Stock Company reported revenue of nearly 700 billion VND for the first nine months of 2026, aiming for an annual target of 1,000 billion VND. On a broader scale, industrial and resource sectors are seeing significant activity. In Phu Tho province, the industrial and construction sector grew by 13.48% during the first nine months of 2026, accounting for over 50% of the provincial GRDP. This growth is driven by electronics, computer, and optical product manufacturing supported by orders from global corporations such as Apple, Dell, Samsung, and Google. Additionally, the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) is increasing coal consumption and supply management. During the first nine months of 2026, direct coal sales exceeded 39 million tons, while purchased coal totaled 49.7 million tons. TKV group companies, including the Cam Pha Port Logistics and Port Company, are implementing infrastructure and technological improvements to manage high demand in the final quarter of the year. Manufacturing capacity is further ramping up to meet export contracts and holiday demand. In the garment sector, THAGACO is mobilizing resources at its Dai Tu 1 factory, having secured orders through the second quarter of 2027 and planning a smart green factory for 2026.
