Vietnam Ministry of Public Security school establishment

Overview

The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has begun establishing specialized People’s Public Security Culture Schools to provide education for disadvantaged children as part of a social welfare initiative for the 2026–2030 period.

In Tay Ninh province, the Ministry established People’s Public Security Culture School IV at the former provincial police headquarters. The facility, which underwent 4.8 billion VND in renovations, provides primary through upper secondary education for vulnerable children in the Southeast region.

Following this, People’s Public Security Culture School VI was announced in Nghe An province. Located at the former Thai Hoa Town Police headquarters, this school will enroll 270 students for the 2026–2027 academic year. The institution serves children of martyrs, wounded soldiers, ethnic minorities, and children under international cooperation programs. Officials noted that these schools reflect the police force’s commitment to addressing social issues to maintain security and order.
