Vietnam is engaging in various regional and bilateral discussions focused on economic cooperation, technological advancement, and food security. The ministerial meeting also adopted principles for strengthening food systems through innovation and digitalization. Concurrently, Vietnam is seeing significant economic engagement with China, with bilateral trade increasing by 35.1% reaching $184.3 billion in the first seven months of 2026 and 2026. Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has met with Chinese investors registering nearly $3.7 billion to encourage high-quality, long-term investment in new projects focused on manufacturing, energy, and electronics. high-tech agriculture.
