The 2026 Vietnamese beauty pageant circuit has progressed through various community service and cultural activities. Earlier stages included Miss Business Talent Vietnam 2026 participants supporting the Quy Hoa Leprosy Village in Gia Lai province, and Miss Vietnam 2026 contestants engaging in cultural experiences in northern Vietnam, such as clam harvesting in Van Don and exploring Tay wedding customs in Tuyen Quang. Following these activities, the Miss Vietnam 2026 competition moved into its national semi-finals at the Dragon Hill International Tourism Area in Hai Phong. On October 10, the competition concluded this stage, selecting 25 contestants from the original 53 to advance to the grand finale scheduled for early November. The semi-final performances featured segments in swimwear, evening gowns, and traditional Ao Dai. The Ao Dai showcase included the ‘Heritage Across the Land’ collection by designer Dang Thi Ngoc Han, which utilized red flamboyant flower motifs inspired by Hai Phong. The selection of the Top 25 was determined by evening performances, the contestants’ two-month journey of cultural and community engagement, and one slot designated for the highest official public vote. Vũ Hồng Hạnh was identified as the contestant who secured her spot through the highest number of official public votes. Phung Cong Suong, Head of the Organizing Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, stated that the competition theme, ‘Scent of ~~Beauty,’~~ Beauty’ (Miền Hương Sắc), is intended to honor the modern Vietnamese woman through her intellect, culture, and ~~dedication.~~ dedication, specifically focusing on the four pillars of Beauty, Culture, Intelligence, and Contribution.
