In late July and August 2026, Vinamilk celebrated its 50th anniversary with high-profile state honors and corporate wellness activities. During a ceremony in Hanoi on 23 July, the company received the Hero of Labor title for the second time via a decree signed by President Tô Lâm. CEO Mai Kiều Liên was also honored with the Independence Medal (Third Class). In Ho Chi Minh City, the company was awarded the First-Class Independence Order, presented by Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The award recognized Vinamilk’s contributions to the national economy, the domestic dairy industry, and the nutritional health of Vietnamese generations. Officials expressed expectations for the firm to lead in green transformation, digital economy integration, and Net Zero commitments. CEO Mai Kiều Liên reaffirmed the company’s mission to provide quality nutrition and strengthen the self-reliance of the domestic dairy sector. As part of the anniversary celebrations, more than 1,500 employees from 30 different units across Vietnam participated in the company organized an online running race titled “50 years of a journey, thousands of footsteps moving together.” Taking place during the first 15 days of August 2026.
