Vingroup and its subsidiaries have experienced significant workforce expansion in Vietnam. In late July 2026, the construction subsidiary VinCons announced it had reached a workforce of approximately 100,000 staff. The company highlighted its recruitment efforts for various trades, offering vocational training, benefits such as free meals and housing, and a career ladder with monthly salaries reaching up to VND 41 million or more for senior roles. By August 2026, Vingroup reported that its total ecosystem, including affiliates like Vincom Retail, GSM, and VinCons, encompasses approximately 230,000 personnel in Vietnam. The conglomerate noted a global workforce exceeding 400,000 people across more than 10 countries. This growth follows a steady increase in direct subsidiary employment, which rose from roughly 54,000 at the end of 2023 to over 104,000 by the end of 2025. The expansion is largely driven by the construction and infrastructure sector, supporting large-scale projects in areas such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Can Gio, and Cam Ranh. As of mid-August 2026, Vingroup remains a leading employer within a group of 22 major Vietnamese enterprises that collectively employ more than 1.22 million people. While Vingroup leads this group with its 230,000 domestic personnel, other major employers in the country include EVN with approximately 97,000 workers, TKV with nearly 95,000, and FPT with over 80,000.
