On 15 July a separate disturbance erupted outside a bar in Scandiano, Reggio Emilia. Three young men of North‑African origin used a black iron tow‑hook taken from a car to strike a rival, causing a cut injuries that required hospital treatment. Carabinieri filed aggravated personal injury in concert and aggravated brawl charges, and the case proceeded before the Reggio Emilia Tribunal.
