Other criminal activities reported include a 31-year-old man in Adrano arrested for threatening a former partner with a handgun, and a man in Frosinone arrested for a multi-year extortion scheme targeting an architect. Recent law enforcement actions have focused on domestic violence under the ‘Codice Rosso’ initiative. In Cadorago, a 48-year-old man with a prior record for domestic abuse was arrested after breaking into his ex-wife’s home with a kitchen knife while intoxicated, threatening her in front of their four children. In Adrano, a 31-year-old man with a history of domestic violence was intercepted after allegedly threatening a former partner with a pistol during a video call and attempting to intimidate her by striking her apartment door.
