In the third ODI against West Indies in New Chandigarh, Rohit Sharma became the fastest player to reach 10,000 ODI runs as an opening batter, achieving the feat in 202 innings and surpassing Sachin Tendulkar’s 22-year-old record. During this match, he also became the first player to hit 100 sixes against the West Indies in international cricket, a milestone reached during his 92-run innings.
