By early September, the release of version 8.2 introduced a quick calculation feature within the address bar, enabling users to receive immediate results for mathematical expressions. This update also saw the introduction of an experimental 64-bit version for Windows, though users are advised to use the 32-bit variant if stability issues arise. Following these developments, the official release of version 8.2 for mobile devices expanded functionality to both Android and iOS. For Android users, the update provides a dedicated icon in the address bar to access the Chrome Web Store for installing and managing extensions.
