Vojtěch Kotek ecological farm project
Overview
Actor Vojtěch Kotek is documenting the development of his ecological farm in Kozárovice through the docu-series “Farma Vojty Kotka”.
In late October 2026, Kotek faced social media criticism from viewers who accused him of delegating manual labor to assistants and film crews, labeling him a “farmer on batteries”. Kotek denied these claims, stating that while he has a support team, he and his crew are actively involved in the work and that television snippets only show small portions of daily operations.
As the project progresses, Kotek has reported various operational challenges. While away for filming work, he monitored events such as the birth of lambs via remote cameras. Upon his return, he encountered significant construction issues regarding a new sewage system, where an excavation site expanded into a large crater after workers encountered massive boulders. Further construction, including foundations for a planned barn, is expected to continue.
