The party’s priorities include setting a date for an anti-squatting office, appointing a director for the Maternity Office, reforming Low Emission Zone regulations on Cartuja Island, and implementing a river transport project. Additionally, the party is calling for new limits on tourist housing, increased measures against illegal street vending, and the hiring of 250 new local police officers. VOX has threatened to end its political cooperation with Seville Mayor José Luis Sanz if the construction of a large mosque in the Polígono Sur neighborhood proceeds. Javier Cortés, the VOX spokesperson in the Andalusian Parliament, stated it would be ‘very difficult’ for the party to trust and negotiate with the mayor again if the Islamic complex is built, claiming the project would result in the ‘islamization’ of the neighborhood.
