In mid-September 2026, a massive fire destroyed between 26 and 28 warehouse buildings in the Kosambi Permai area of Tangerang Regency. The blaze, which reportedly began in a spring bed warehouse, required assistance from the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport fire department and armored water cannons from the Brimob unit. No casualties were reported in that incident.
