Brazilian singer and songwriter Giulia Be and American attorney Conor Kennedy held a multi-day wedding celebration in Rio de Janeiro following a civil ceremony in Los Angeles in March 2026. The religious ceremony took place on Saturday, October 10, at the historic Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé, a site notable for hosting the wedding of Princess Isabel in 1864. The festivities included a welcome dinner in Ipanema featuring a performance by the Unidos da Vila Isabel samba school, a religious blessing at Christ the Redeemer, and a reception at the Instituto Brando Barbosa in Jardim Botânico, hosted by Paulo Marinho. Approximately 200 guests attended the events, including various Brazilian celebrities, artists, and influencers, as well as members of the Kennedy family. Kennedy’s father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, shared photos of the event on social media, which included his wife, Cheryl Hines. Following the formal ceremonies, the couple shared photos of post-wedding celebrations on the beaches of Copacabana. These activities included playing beach volleyball and swimming with friends. Conor Kennedy, 32, is a graduate of Harvard and Georgetown. Giulia Be is the daughter of businessman and politician Paulo Marinho and entrepreneur Adriana Marinho. Following her marriage and subsequent move to Los Angeles, Be has indicated a focus on expanding her music and audiovisual career within the United States.
