Weekly streaming and cinema premieres

Streaming services, broadcast networks, and cinemas are releasing a variety of new film and television content.

Subsequent updates expanded the scope to include cinema releases and additional streaming content. Netflix titles were noted to include a drama regarding life after a spouse leaves, a story about the Bellarie family, a miniseries about a camper trip, and the thriller ‘Mouse Trap’. Disney+ scheduled the second season of the FX comedy ‘Adults’. Theatrical releases include the Ridley Scott-directed film ‘Dog Star’, the horror film ‘Insidious: The Further Dimension’, the action film ‘Rebel’, and ‘Spider-Man: A Whole New Day’.

Recent announcements for the upcoming week include Netflix adding the action-horror ‘Resident Evil: Extinction’, the psychological thriller ‘Greta’, and the live-action family comedy ‘The Flintstones’ on September 1. On September 3, Hulu is set to premiere the second season of the comedy series ‘Chad Powers’, while Netflix will release the second season of Guy Ritchie’s crime series ‘The Gentlemen’, which has already been renewed for a third season.
