Regional observances of Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day have expanded to include diverse cultural festivities, social welfare initiatives, and legislative discussions. The Komunitas Migas Indonesia (KMI) has proposed ten ‘Golden Rules’ for the 2026 Oil and Gas Bill (RUU Migas), aiming to provide legal certainty and attract investment to the industry. Recent activities have highlighted community cooperation and environmental awareness.
